ARice Studio
Born in China, shaped in Singapore, and now rooted in the Greater Seattle Area, Yingri Guan is a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work spans cultures and mediums. With a deep curiosity for the world, she draws inspiration from her love of travel, literature, snowboarding, and cooking.
Adventurous, curious, and insightful by nature, Yingri Guan explores the global commonalities and nuances that define our world. By analyzing and interpreting patterns and forms, she creates tangible visualizations through generative design and digital fabrication, aiming to reveal deep, often hidden connections.
Working at the intersection of art, design, and technology, she brings unseen truths to the surface. Over the past decade, Yingri has actively designed products, programmed experimental media, and exhibited art internationally—including in China, the United States, Italy, and India.
